Through the Lens of Workers’ Motivation: Does It Relate to Work–Family Relationship Perceptions?

Workers’ motivations and the work–family relationship are two subjects that have been capturing attention of researchers practitioners. However, to date, little is known about link between subjects. Thus, this research aimed investigate relationships among each type motivation conceptualized in self-determination theory conflict, enrichment, balance. In addition, current study intended Work–family Data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire. To test hypotheses, PROCESS macro was used. The results suggested intrinsic negatively associated with conflict positively enrichment Additionally, identified regulations seem be contrary expectations, revealed positive introjected regulation Concerning external (material social) amotivation, globally, findings consistent i.e., higher lower Moreover, balance, Theoretical practical implications discussed.
